Keith Rous, 5th Earl of Stradbroke

(William) Keith Rous, 5th Earl of Stradbroke (10 March 1907 – 18 July 1983) was a British nobleman, younger son of George Rous, 3rd Earl of Stradbroke. In 1943 he married Mary Asquith, granddaughter of Herbert Henry Asquith, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1908 to 1916 and 1st Earl of Oxford and Asquith. Rous became Earl of Stradbroke after the death of his brother John in 1983. He died himself four days after inheriting the earldom, leaving children including:
- Robert Keith Rous, 6th Earl of Stradbroke (b. 1937)
- Lt. Gen. the Hon Sir William Rous, KCB, OBE, Coldstream Guards (1939-1999) He married Judith Rosemary Persse and had two sons, James (b 1972) and Richard (b 1975).
