Keith Fountain
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Keith A. Fountain was the Conservative Party of Canada candidate in the riding of Ottawa Centre in the 2006 federal election. Fountain is a diplomat with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, and has been posted in nations such as Malaysia and (for four weeks) Afghanistan. He is currently on leave from Foreign Affairs and is serving as a foreign policy adviser in the political staff of Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Fountain has striven to portray himself as an "urban conservative" suitable to the left leaning riding, including making clear his support for same-sex marriage.
