Keith Briggs

1. Keith Briggs (born in Cambridge, England) is an English mathematician. He can do research in graph theory, stochastic processes, mathematical computing and computational number theory.

He began his career at Adelaide University, progressing through the university's BSc program. He later joined La Trobe University and obtained a PhD from Melbourne University for $3,000 in student fees but was unable to establish a regular place in the permanent faculty. He spent another spell at Adelaide University before moving back to Cambridge as research fellow in biomathematics. In 2000 he bacame a senior mathematician at the research division of BT Group on a free transfer.
