KCWY, channel 13, is the NBC affiliate for Casper, Wyoming. The station also serve as the satellite outlet for KSWY channel 7 in Sheridan, KCHY-LP channel 13 in Cheyenne, K14LK channel 14 in Laramie and K30GV channel 30 in Riverton. All stations except K30GV are owned by Sunbelt Communications Company.
KCWY signed on the air in the spring of 2001 as an affiliate of the PAX network. On September 1, 2003, KCWY became the new NBC affiliate in the Casper market after NBC severed its affiliation with long time affiliate KTWO. KCWY launched its first newscast ("News 13 First at Five") on September 22, 2003.
