KCFX-FM is a classic rock station in Kansas City, Missouri. Playing album rock since its inception in the 1970s, they were originally called KIEE until they changed to KCFX on December 21, 1983. In 1990, they swapped frequencies with KMZU in Carrolton, jumping from 100.7 MHz to 101.1.
The Fox, since 1991, is the flagship station for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. They are also an affiliate of The Bob & Tom Show as of March 13, 2006.
