KBJZ

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

KBJZ is a free-form low-power FM station operating at 94.1MHz out of Juneau, Alaska. It is known for its eccentric programming, including the freestylings of local hip-hop artists under the supervision of The Genius, international underground punk rock presented by local rocker David Conway, and in the past, Collette Costa's daily 6AM-12PM Morning Madame program.

Collette was the main reason to listen to KBJZ for many people, as she has a hilarious and provocative banter that would likely land her in trouble in a larger city. She now runs the acclaimed Costa's Diner in downtown Juneau, and occasionally is emcee for community events.
