User:Kbdank71/Admin criterion

Aside from the usual (I've seen you around, you aren't a tool, etc), I have one criterion (which, incidentally, is the singular of the plural criteria):
- You've been opposed by either User:Jguk, User:Scott Gall, or User:Denelson83 for not meeting their admin criteria: User:Jguk/admin criterion and/or User:Scott Gall/Admin criterion.
Why? Because a) you don't need to be an admin to get an article to featured status, b) I don't see how knowing your national anthem will make you a better admin (or being 21 years old, or not having a criminal record, or knowing another language, etc etc), and c) having to be here nine months before supporting seems to be an awfully long time, and most likely has nothing to do with how a candidate will do as an admin.
I have nothing against these three users. I just disagree with their criteria, and I feel it's unfair to oppose for those reasons. --Kbdank71 14:48, 18 May 2005 (UTC)
