Kazuyuki Sogabe

Kazuyuki Sogabe (曽我部和恭 Sogabe Kazuyuki, real name: 曽我部和行 , April 16, 1948 - September 17, 2006) was a veteran seiyū. He was born in Chiba Prefecture. He retired from voice acting on December 31st, 2000 when he felt a weakness in his own voice. After his retirement, his roles went to voice actors Tetsu Inada and Ryotaro Okiayu. He died on September 17th, 2006 at around 8 PM from esophageal cancer, which he was diagnosed with 2 months before. He was 58 years old.
