The Kazakhstan national rugby union team is nicknamed the Nomads. It is controlled by the Kazakhstan Rugby Union and represents Kazakhstan in the sport of Rugby Union.

From June 5 - June 25 [2005], Kazakhstan defeated Guam, India and Malaysia to finish top of Pool B, Division 3.
They then defeated Sri Lanka 25-19 in Kazakhstan before losing the match in Colombo, Sri Lanka 24-12. This eliminated them from the 2007 World Cup.
