[edit] International status

For corroboration on its international status, check out this link; Kayes has a customs station and is therefore (I think) international. Which only makes sense, as it sits so close to Senegal & Mauritania. I'll try to doublecheck this somewhere else but I'm putting it back for now, pending evidence to the contrary.
