Kayumars
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kayumars (1290) was an Islamic ruler and a Sultan of Delhi of medieval India during the waning years of the Slave Dynasty (or Mameluk dynasty). He was the son of Muiz ud din Qaiqabad (1286-1290) and was declared ruler at the age of three once his father had suffered from a paralytic stroke and later on murdered by a Khilji chief. However, Kayumars' guardian, Jalal ud din Firuz Khilji, eventually dethroned Kayumars and declared himself king, thus bringing an end to the Slave Dynasty.
