[edit] 10 pm News
Fox 28 News First @ 10, which has been produced by KHQ since 2004, isn't the station's first attempt at a local news broadcast.
In 1991, KAYU began broadcasting a 10 pm newscast produced by KREM-2. After two years and mediocre ratings, KREM cancelled the newscast, leaving an opening immediately filled by KHQ. After a year, that newscast was also cancelled.
Beginning in 1999, KAYU produced its own 10 pm newscast which aired until 2004.
