Kawahigashi, Fukushima

Kawahigashi (河東町; -machi) is a town located in Kawanuma District, Fukushima, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 9,289 and a density of 234.75 persons per km². The total area is 39.57 km².
The town was amagalated by the city of Aizuwakamatsu on November 1, 2005.
