Kavya Madhavan is a popular Malayalam movie actress. Born in the village of Neeleswaram in Kasargod district, Kerala, India, she entered the industry as a child artist in the late 1980s; since then, she has acted in over 25 films in Malayalam and also in a few Tamil movies. She is noted for having retained her rural Neeleswaram accent. She did her schooling at Rajas High School, Nileshwar.
