Katrina Devine

Katrina Devine was born July 1980 in Northern Ireland. Throughout childhood, she pursued drama during school, appearing in various amateur and school productions. She migrated to New Zealand with her family when she was 6.

Through the years, she stayed true to her Irish background, competing in Irish dancing through to her teens, which earned her many awards.
In 1994 Katrina landed a role on Shortland Street, where she would go on to spend 8 years with.
She is also a talented vocalist and has performed live on stage for large-scale musical productions several times during her time on Shortland Street. In 1998, she won the best supporting actress award at the New Zealand Television Awards for her work on the show.
In 2001 she married former Shortland Street co-star Blair Strang, though they are currently separated.
In 2003 Katrina played villianess Marah on Power Rangers: Ninja Storm. She was asked to come back and played Cassidy on Power Rangers: Dino Thunder in 2004.
She is also the editor of Kiwi teen magazine "Creme."
