Katowice Voivodeship

Katowice Voivodeship (Polish: województwo katowickie) was a unit of administrative division and local government in Poland in the years 1975-1998, superseded by the Silesian Voivodeship. Its capital city was Katowice.

Katowice Voivodeship (Polish: województwo katowickie), initially Silesian-Dabrowa Voivodeship (województwo śląsko-dąbrowskie) was also a unit of administrative division and local government in Poland from 1946 to 1975, superseded by the 1975-1998 Katowice, Czestochowa Voivodeship, Bielsko-Biala Voivodeship, and Opole Voivodeship. Its capital city was also Katowice.
