KatieJane Garside

A vocalist and lyricist with an ardent cult following, KatieJane Garside (born July 8, 1968) fronted the first incarnation of the band Daisy Chainsaw and sang guest vocals for the band Test Department. After retiring from music temporarily, she now sings with Queen Adreena, an independent rock band from London. She has also worked in performance art and artistically altered dolls. She has exhibited at the ICA in London. More recently she has released a solo work, Lalleshwari / Glasswilderness which contained films directed by James Sutton and also co-created the comic book entitled Indigo Vertigo with fellow Englishman Dan Schaffer.
Most recently, KatieJane collaborated with Chris Whittingham in a project called Ruby Throat.
Her sister, Melanie Garside, also has a career in music.
Hole frontwoman Courtney Love once cited KatieJane as the first real Riot Grrrl along with Kat Bjelland of Babes in Toyland and herself.

This boxset included an audio CD and a DVD. This version was limited to 300, with the first 100 being signed and numbered.
