Kati Durst

[Kati Durst is a Canadian singer from Goderich, Ontario, and the tenth-place finisher in the 2006 season of Canadian Idol.

Durst, who was an automotive detailer, had a severe cold driving to her audition in Kitchener, but impressed the judges enough to be given a "golden ticket" to the next round in Toronto. She was eventually put through to the semi-finals, and later to the Top 10, but was the first finalist eliminated on July 18.

Durst's performances on Canadian Idol included:

  2. Top 18: I Hope You Dance (Lee Ann Womack)
  3. Top 14: Not Ready to Make Nice (Dixie Chicks)
  4. Top 10: It Makes No Difference (The Band) - Eliminated 07/18/06
