Kathryn Hazel Blair (b. March 2, 1988) is the only daughter of British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Cherie Booth, QC. Kathryn completed her A-Levels at the London Oratory School in May 2006.
While her residence of record, in common with her parents and her brothers Euan, Nicky and Leo, is the ex officio London residence of all Prime Ministers 10 Downing Street the family in fact live at 11 Downing Street since the accommodation there is bigger.
[edit] Privacy issues
The Blairs have at times been ready to use legal and other action to protect the privacy of their children. For example, in 1999, the Press Complaints Commission upheld a complaint from the Blairs against the Daily Mail that they had improperly used their position to obtain a school place for Kathryn, on the grounds that it was both inaccurate and a breach of Kathryn's privacy. [1]
They did not, however, take any action over media speculation including articles in The Age, The Daily Telegraph, and the Irish Independent, and on Indymedia related to an unconfirmed May 2004 event in Kathryn's private life.
