Katherine Anna Kang

Katherine Anna Kang is a Machinima film producer and video game industry figure. In 2000, she founded Fountainhead Entertainment. Formerly, Kang was the Director of Business Development for id Software. Though she is married to PC gaming legend John Carmack, she is best known for her work in machinima, for co-founding the Academy of Machinima Arts and Sciences, and most recently for her work in the mobile gaming sector.
Kang is the CEO of Fountainhead Entertainment but she also designs and produces award winning games and Machinima. Kang's most well known works include cell phone games "DoomRPG" and "Orcs & Elves" for id Software, "In The Waiting Line" for MTV, and "Game Over" for UPN.
Kang married John Carmack in January 2000 and in August 2004 had their first child, a son, Christopher Ryan Carmack.
