Kate Voegele is a singer, songwriter, guitarist from Bay Village, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. She has played at Farm Aid in 2004 and 2005 along with Dave Matthews, Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp. She released her latest EP "Louder Than Words" in February 2005. She was one of three national finalists in the Pantene Pro-Voice Competition in July 2004, receiving national exposure on MTV. Her song "Only Fooling Myself" was also featured in an episode of CBS’s drama "Clubhouse". Her songwriting contributions including songs "Only Fooling Myself" and "I Won't Disagree" received top honors by national reputable songwriting organizations.

Kate's original touring band consisted of Sam Getz on lead guitar, Mike Gould on Drums, Phil Palumbo on bass, and Andrew Sorenson on keyboards. Getz, Gould, and Palumbo left sometime in late 2005 to pursue their own band, Cactus 12.

Sorenson stayed on as the keyboardist. The band now includes Andrew Sorenson, Mark Tobik on bass and saxophone, Patrick O'Donnell on drums, and Kate's father Will Voegele on electric guitar. As of October 1, 2006, the band is still touring in support of Kate's music.

As a twenty year old, Kate enjoys being a sophomore at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, but never passes up an opportunity to travel to LA, New York, or even back home to Bay Village.

Kate opened the show at the House of Blues, Cleveland, Ohio for the popular country rock duo Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp, also known as The Wreckers.

Kate was officially signed to MySpace Records in October 2006. Kate's first full album of 12 tracks includes songs "Top of the World," "Only Fooling Myself," and "Kindly Unspoken."
