Kate appeared in the January 2006 issue of Playboy's Natural Beauties and also in the June/July 2006 and August/September 2006 issues of Playboy's Lingerie.

Ground runs a website called Kate's Playground. Users can access an archive of photos and videos for a monthly fee. Members of Kate's Playground also gain access to webcam chats.
In 2005, Kate and another web model named Karen (from the site Karen Dreams) launched Karen Loves Kate, a spin-off website with a lesbian theme.
Kate is also an active webmaster who operates several websites. She has launched a website, KateGround.com, that gives basic information on her, such as a biography, news, galleries, and more. Kate also operates three other small sites, Kate's-Chix.com, GirlsMakeMeWet.com, and G33kGirls.com.
Kate recently started a website for a model who goes by the alias Natalie Sparks. Kate hand picked Natalie to be her new protege. Natalie has a similar body type to that of Kate. Kate is attempting to raise Natalie's popularity to the level she has reached herself.
Kate is rumoured to have a deformed right foot.[2] This has been neither confirmed nor denied by the model, but has become a source of debate amongst fans. Observers who have seen pictures of her foot describe it as 'hoof'-like, as it appears to have only two toes joined. Kate usually wears shoes or obstructs her feet in pictures.
