Kate Ford (born 1977) is a British actress best known for having played Tracy Barlow in the long-running ITV1 soap opera Coronation Street since 2002.

She is the fourth actress to play the role after Christabel Finch played her from birth in 1977 to 1983, with Holly Charmette taking over from 1985 to 1988 and Dawn Acton playing the role from 1988 to 1999.

Ford has announced she intends to leave Coronation Street in March 2007 when her contract expires.[1]

Ford is from Salford, England, UK. Before playing Tracy she appeared in a 2002 spin-off episode of the popular BBC1 soap opera EastEnders which revolved around Ricky Butcher and Bianca Jackson.
