Katakura Kojuro (片倉小十郎?) is the name of all heads of Katakura family served to the Date clan as Karou. Here treat 1st Kojuro, Katakura Kagetsuna (片倉景綱?) (1557-1615). One of the greatest strategists under Date Masamune. During Toyotomi Hideyoshi's attack at the Hōjō clan, Kojuro advised Masamune to side with Hideyoshi. This was to ensure the longevity of the Date clan.

In the upcoming game Sengoku Basara 2, Kojuro will be featured as an NPC, voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa. He wields dual katanas, where the short one is on top of the longer one.
