[edit] Early life and career
Kat mainly grew up in Whitchurch, Shropshire with her family. After moving to London, her TV career started on price-drop tv where she introduced upcoming products and modelled products such as jewellery, but left in March 2006 for a more important role on BIG Game TV!. She was soon spotted by the ITV Play team and then presented The Daily Quiz! on Men & Motors. She was later given the job of being a main presenter on The Mint on ITV1. Kat also presented Extra Mint, an early evening version of the main programme. However, recently The Daily Quiz! and Extra Mint have been cancelled and now Kat can be seen exclusively on The Mint.
The vast majority of promotional images for The Mint have Kat pictured with co-presenter Brian Dowling. Kat was also part of the first show to give away the jackpot. Kat presented with Brian Dowling and Craig Stevens and almost forcibly made sure the jackpot of over £108,000 was won on the night May 12, 2006.
Since presenting The Mint Kat has become very good friends with co-presenter Brian Dowling and is often seen out with him.
Kat appeared in a photoshoot for the September 2006 issue of the popular men's magazine, MAXIM.
Kat will be presenting the Daily Show podcast (www.theshow.com) online during the weekends. [1]
