Doshu was enrolled in a Kashima Shinto ryu dojo, not Kashima-Shinryu. I will erase the information here until more accurate information can be supplied.

Why not expand the article instead? There is a ton of material published about KSR after all. I have rewritten this completely. The misconceptions some aiki-folks have about KSR can be mentioned in passing. jni 06:43, 5 September 2005 (UTC)
