Kashmore District

Kashmore District (Urdu: کشمور ) is a located in the Sindh province of Pakistan. Kashmore is its capital.

The Kashmore District is a newly created district. It has borders with the Balochistan and Punjab provinces of Pakistan.

The majority of the population is Baloch. Prominent among Baloch tribes of the district are the Bijarani, Sunderani, Khoso, Jakhrani, and Dombki. The Bijarani tribe commands 37 balouch tribes on both sides of the border.

The Kashmore District has three administrative sub-districts or Tehsils: Tangwani, Kandhkot, and Kashmore. Kashmore has always been a hub of trade for its agricultural produce.
