Kasha (Pendragon series)

Kasha was a fictional character in The Pendragon Adventure book series by D.J. MacHale and also the Traveler from Eelong. Eelong no longer has a Traveler due to the fact that Kasha was a Traveler from Bobby's generation, which was the last generation of Travelers.
Her father, Seegen, was the previous Traveler, and also a prominent citizen in Leeandra, their home. But Seegen had been visited by Bobby's Uncle Press, and become absorbed in his duties as a Traveler. Kasha, on the other hand, refused to believe in the Travelers and the territories, and accused that of changing her father from a clever klee to a dreamy one that was obsessed with "imaginary" concepts. Bobby first saw her when she was saving a helpless gar from a hungry tang, and knew that she wasn't as hard-hearted as she let on. However, she didn't even flinch at the sight of Vincent Van Dyke (Gunny)'s severed hand. However, her attitude changed when she, Bobby, and Yorn (Saint Dane in disguise) traveled to Black Water, a sanctuary for gars. She discovered what a monster Saint Dane could be when she witnessed her old friend Yorn transform into the arrogant figure of Saint Dane, who had also killed her father with a poisoned apple. Then she accepted her duty as a Traveler and took her Traveler ring, and also later giving Boon, her best friend, his ring as his duty as her acolyte. Unfortunately, she perished on Zadaa. Mark and Courtney, as acolytes, were not supposed to use the flumes, but they had anyway, eventually weakening Eelong's flume until it collapsed on their departure. Bobby dragged her to Zadaa to save her from the collapse, and a falling rock hit her on the head, leading to her death. Loor cremated her and Bobby vowed to spread her ashes on her father's favorite spot on Eelong. Bobby, the lead traveler, vowed to find a way to return Kasha's ashes to Eelong and to bring Spader and Gunny back from Eelong so they can continue helping Bobby fight Saint Dane.
