Kasaan (IPA: [kəˈsæn]) is a city in the Prince of Wales-Outer Ketchikan Census Area in the U.S. state of Alaska. As of the 2000 census, the population was 39.

Kasaan is located at GR1.
(55.541748, -132.401821)According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 16.2 km² (6.2 mi²). 13.8 km² (5.3 mi²) of it is land and 2.4 km² (0.9 mi²) of it (14.58%) is water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 39 people, 17 households, and 12 families residing in the city. The population density was 2.8/km² (7.3/mi²). There were 39 housing units at an average density of 2.8/km² (7.3/mi²). The racial makeup was 51.28% White, 38.46% Native American, and 10.26% from two or more races. 2.56% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 17 households out of which 17.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.7% were married couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.4% were non-families. 23.5% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.29 and the average family size was 2.75.
In the city, the population was spread out with 20.5% under the age of 18, 7.7% from 18 to 24, 23.1% from 25 to 44, 46.2% from 45 to 64, and 2.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 45 years. For every 100 females there were 129.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 138.5 males.
The median income for a household was $43,500, and the median income for a family was $42,500. Males had a median income of $36,250 versus $0 for females. The per capita income was $19,743. There were no families and none of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and none of those over 64.
