[edit] Edits to Don Bosco Tarlac
Hi, please stop trying to insert the Batch 2005 logo with message on the Don Bosco Tarlac article. Its not appropriate content and its way too large. Its debatable whether the Batch 2005 information is relevant to the article about the school at allo, but I'm trying to work with you to find a way to include a mention of it. Trying to include the inappropriate text and logo isn't helpful. Thanks, Gwernol 16:29, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm going to ask you again to stop reverting the article to include the animated logo. It is inappropriate. Wikipedia is not a place for you to advertize your graduating class. You should also review Wikipedia's policy on neutral point of view which is a central pillar of editing Wikipedia. Finally I'm going to warn you that you are in danger of violating the three revert rule. If you continue to replace the inappropriate image on the Don Bosco Tarlac article you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thanks, Gwernol 16:35, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
This is your final warning do not continue to insert the inappropriate version of the logo into the Don Bosco Tarlac article. If you continue to revert the article you will be in violation of the three revert rule and I will take this to the site administrators. This will likely lead to you being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please understand that this is not appropriate content for a Wikipedia article. Thanks, Gwernol 16:43, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Edits to my talk page
Hi, I'm afraid I don't speak whatever language that message was left in (Tagalog ? Taglish ?), so I am unable to respond. Sorry. This is the English language Wikipedia so you'll get most mileage from messages left in English. Gwernol 17:00, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
However, that last one was clear and a completely unacceptable use of Wikipedia. You are reminded to remain civil.
Warning: Please do not add obscenities to Wikipedia. Injecting unnecessary profanities, racially or sexually abusive comments, or provocative pictures to articles or user pages offends many people. Wikipedia treats such actions as vandalism and blocks people from editing for such repeated vandalism. Gwernol 17:01, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
- FYI, I managed to get a translation of some of the Filipino message you left on my talk page, so:
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
- If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia and make personal attacks on editors you and your sockpuppet accounts will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thanks, Gwernol 17:08, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Bluepatch05 logo.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Bluepatch05 logo.gif. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:05, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
