Karya (Greek: Καρυά), also Karia is a municipality in the northcentral part of the island of Lefkada, Greece. Population 1,427 (2001). A large part of the population live in the municipal seat. Karya is linked with the main road linking Lefkada and Vassiliki or the southernmost area of the island. The village is located on the slopes of Pyrgos at 500 m above sea level. The highest point in the municipality is the mountain named Stavrota elevating 1,158 m.

Karya was linked with pavement in the mid-20th century, hydro and phone lines soon followed as well as more paved roads in the 1980s.
