Karstula

Karstula is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Central Finland region. The municipality has a population of 4,904 (2003) and covers an area of 963.45 km² of which 73.69 km² is water. The population density is 5.1 inhabitants per km².

It was founded in 1867.
