Karl Swenson

Karl Swenson (July 23, 1908) – (October 8, 1978) was an American film and television actor. He was born on July 23, 1908 in Brooklyn, New York. He is best known for his performance as Lars Hanson on the TV series Little House on the Prairie. He entered the film industry in the 1940s and appeared in many different films and television series throughout his career. Swenson died of a heart attack on October 8, 1978 in Torrington, Connecticut. Ironically, he died shortly after filming the episode in which his character (Lars Hanson) died.
