Karl Harker was a teenage Judo Champion who represented Great Britain in various competitions around the world. In 2001 he began training as a professional wrestler in Sheffield England with Elite Pro-Wrestling.

[edit] Wrestling career

Karl Harker made his debut in February 2002 and in November 2002 formed a tag team with Paul Parisio, they would fly out to the United States and win the !BANG! Funking Conservatory United States Tag-Team Championship. Upon returning to the UK they vacated the Championships and formed The Brit Pack with Andi Rush.

Harker and Rush would later win the UKWA British Tag Team Championship in March 2003 and after losing thess titles in July 2003 Harker quit professional wrestling. This would be the first of many retirements for the former Judo Champion. Later that year, an offer from Scottish Championship Wrestling would see him reform his partnership with Paul Parisio and head north of the border. His success up north paled in comparison to the success he received in England. Eventually the team split in April 2004 and Harker once again quit the sport.

In January 2005 a chance phone call from former tag partner Andi Rush saw The Brit Pack reunited, this time for World Association of Wrestling. Their comeback match as a team was against the WAW tag champs, the UK Pitbulls, in a non-title 2 out of 3 falls match in Hunstanton, Norfolk on 1st April 2005. They eventually defeated the UK Pitbulls 2-1 and instantly received a title shot for the WAW British Tag-Team Championship. It looked as if all the hard work had paid off for The Brit Pack, but sadly it wasn't to be.

A scheduled 8-man, 3-stages of hell match pitting the The Brit Pack, Jason Cross & Ricky Knight against The UK Pitbulls, Zak Zodiac & The Zebra Kid slated for WAW's June showcase event Meltdown turned into a disaster. 24 Hours before the event, Harker telephoned his partner Andi Rush to confirm he would pick him up the following day to travel to the Event in Norwich. At the time Harker was in Holland and stressed he would be there in time.

The following morning Harker never arrived and no one could get in contact with him, WAW officials had no choice but to pull The Brit Pack from the Card. This would spell the end of The Brit Pack and also the end of Karl Harker's professional wrestling Career.

To this day, Karl Harker has not been in contact with anyone within the professional wrestling industry.
