Karl Beattie

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Karl Beattie (born May 20, 1963) is the husband of Yvette Fielding, main presenter of Living TV's Most Haunted programme, a program which investigates psychic phenomena. Beattie and Fielding co-own Antix, the TV Production Company that produces Most Haunted.

Karl's previous work as a camerman included music videos and television shows.

Karl also claims to hold the title of "samurai" after competing in a large unknown tournament for full-contact martial arts combat. However, no-one in the martial arts world is aware of either the competition he claims to have won or the previously undefeated Japanese heavyweight he supposedly defeated to receive his prize.

As a brief aside, the samurai class has been abolished since beginning of the Meiji era (1868) in Japanese history.
