Kariobangi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kariobangi is a low-income residential estate in northeastern Nairobi, Kenya. It composes of both apartments and slum-type dwellings. It is split into two parts, Kariobangi North and Kariobangi South. The northern part was constructed first, with first buildings built in 1961 [1]. A well-known Kenyan hip hop group K-South derives its name from Kariobangi South, their home estate.
