Karen Rachel Witter (born December 13, 1961 in Long Beach, California) is an American model and actress. She was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for its March 1982 issue. Her centerfold was photographed by Arny Freytag.
At the time she became a Playmate, Karen was attending the University of Hawaii. Afterwards, she became a prolific actress, mostly on television. She had a regular role on the soap opera One Life to Live and guest spots on series as diverse as Cheers, The X-Files, NYPD Blue and Malcolm in the Middle.
Karen is married to TV producer Chuck Lorre.
