Karen Mulder

Karen Mulder (born June 1, 1968 in Vlaardingen, Netherlands) is a former Dutch supermodel. She has since retired from modeling. She got her break at age 17 after coming second in the 1985 Elite Look of the Year contest. She has appeared in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 1997 and 1998. After she ended her modelling career she pursued a career in music but this turned out to be unsuccesful. Probably her best know effort at establishing a music career is her cover version of the famous song I Am What I Am.
She welcomed daughter Anna on October 30th 2006.
