Karel Klostermann

Karel Klostermann (February 15, 1848-July 17, 1923) was a Czech writer. He wrote under the alias Faustin.
From 1857 to 1865 he went to school in Písek, studied until 1869 in Vienna medicine and was later than teachers for German and French at the German High School in Pilsen active. He first wrote his first works in German, turning however then to the Czech language and wrote above all novellas over the inhabitants of the middle Boehmerwalds. Admits is its collection V srdci šumavských hvozdu ("in the heart of the Boehmerwaldes"). A part of its novellas plays into and around the city Kašperské Hory (mountain realm stone).
Some of his more popular works include "the son of the free judge" and "fist in stories".
