Kardinya is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Melville. Its postcode is 6163. Kardinya has many attractive houses and villa houses. Many international students and locals rent residences in Kardinya because of its closeness to Murdoch University, Murdoch College and to the private college located in O'connor.

Kardinya has its own local shopping Centre called Kardinya Park. It has a Coles Supermarket, Kmart, Jesters and Australia Post. There is an IGA supermarket and a local pub outside the complex. Near this there are a row of shops along South Street. This comprises of Chicken Treat, a local Fish and Chip shop, Chinese restaurant and Liquor store.
Local residents living in Kardinya can also head west along South Street and find the row of shops in O'Connor. Booragoon Garden City is 10 minutes by car.

A number of buses go through Kardinya. The 98/99 Circleroute bus goes through South Street and linked up with the Murdoch Park n Ride.
