Karasjohka

Karasjohka river joins Anarjohka downstream of Karigasniemi and forms the famous salmon fishing Tana river (in Sámi: Deatnu). Karasjok municipality in Finnmark, Norway is situated along the upper river basin of the Deatnu / Tana river, and its tributaries Anarjohka and Karasjohka, and includes large tracts of the high plateau of Finnmarksvidda, which the Karasjohka drains.
The Karasjohka river drains a watershed of 4948 km².
