Kaptain Skurvy

Kaptain Skurvy is a fictional character created for the animated series based on the Super NES video game Donkey Kong Country. This pirate captain greatly resembles the Kannon enemy from Donkey Kong Country 2, which resembled Klump.
Skurvy first appeared in the episode "Booty and the Beast", along with his two pirate lackeys, Kutlass (who happened to share the same name as another DKC2 enemy, but didn't look like his namesake) and Green Kroc (who looked like a black Kritter), as well as his parrot, Polly Roger (no relation to Screech from DKC2). In this episode, Skurvy showed up to steal the Crystal Coconut, which, according to him, is his birthright, as declared by his great-great grandpappy. Unfortunately for him, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong chased him onto his ship and, with help from a rather large Klaptrap, got the Coconut back.
After that episode, Skurvy's parrot, Polly Roger, apparently left to work for King K. Rool, whom Skurvy rivals for the Crystal Coconut. Skurvy returned for the Coconut in "The Legend of the Crystal Coconut", this time with a toothache, swearing on the Great Great Great Pirate Oath to grant any favor to anyone who rid him of it. At the end of the episode, DK ended up knocking Skurvy's loose tooth out, so Skurvy, keeping his word on the oath, gave DK the Coconut back.
Skurvy makes his next appearance in "Bug a Boogie", where he once again showed up to reclaim the Coconut, this time looting Cranky Kong's cabin while he was at it. (He is, after all, a pirate.) Shortly afterwards, though, he was tricked into coming to the Forbidden Forest to give the Coconut to K. Rool.
Skurvy's next appearance was "Ape-Nesia", where he tricked an amnesia-struck Donkey Kong into thinking he was his old first mate, Donkey Kroc. He then sent "Donkey Kroc" to steal all sorts of objects for him, the Crystal Coconut among them. Eventually, DK got his memory back and tricked Skurvy, as well as K. Rool, into finding a hiding spot where he had planted some banana peels that ended up causing Skurvy and K. Rool to get amnesia themselves. K. Rool and Skurvy, despite being of the same species, had bad relations throughout the series. Prior to the incident mentioned above, the two bicker and call each other a "pestering pirate" and a "bilge rat".
Skurvy's last appearance was the show's Christmas-themed episode, "The Kongo Bongo Festival of Lights", in which he stole the Coconut while the Kongs had made a temporary truce with the Kremlings. DK and Diddy found out the Kaptain Skurvy wanted something other than the Coconut. That was to find his long lost brother, who turned out to be Klump. At the end of the episode, Klump tells K. Rool that he's leaving to join Skurvy's pirate crew, but K. Rool forbids it.
