Kaplan Arena

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kaplan Arena is an 8,600-seat multi-purpose arena in Williamsburg, Virginia. The arena opened in 1971. It is home to the College of William and Mary Tribe basketball team.

The arena was known as William & Mary Hall from 1971-2005, but the name was changed as part of a publicized funding effort by college president Gene Nichol. It hosted the then ECAC South, now Colonial Athletic Association men's basketball tournament in 1985.
