Kapiti Fine Foods Ltd is a Palmerston North based New Zealand company producing gourmet cheeses, icecream and other dairy products. The company takes it's name from its original site in Lindale on the Kapiti coast of New Zealand. It supplies gourmet dairy products to delicatessens, supermarkets, and airlines throughout New Zealand and also exports to overseas markets. It has factories in both Paraparaumu and Palmerston North and now produces a total of 51 speciality cheeses since it began production in 1984.

Several of the cheeses and icecreams have received accolades at national competitions. In 2005 Kapiti cheeses won eight gold, three silver and seven bronze medals at the New Zealand Champions of Cheese awards [1].

On the 15th of November 2005, New Zealand's largest dairy company, Fonterra, agreed to purchase Kapiti Fine Foods Ltd from Foodstuffs [2][3].
