Talk:Kaori Iida
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
_ _ Arggh! Yuck! <Flame off> There is no one so vulnerable to lack of attention to WP:MOSBIO as a Japanese pop musician.
_ _ By viewing the first version, i found
- A singer, Kaori Iida (飯田圭織: Iida Kaori) was born ...
and conclude (with the lower degree of certainty that suffices on the page where i'm working on her entry) that
- Kaori is probably a given name, and
- Iida is probably a surname.
That would mean the article violates MoS by referring via given name alone (in subsequent references) to a person who has a surname, in bio'g them.
_ _ Someone who (unlike me) has some knowledge of the subject, and thus more certainty, should fix that, and document it on this talk page and in their edit summary for the article, so it can be confidently and quickly fixed, the next time some editor objects to their best buddy being referred to by surname.
