Kanye is a town located in southern Botswana. It is the administrative center of the Southern District. It is the capital of the Bangwaketse tribe whose chief is Kgosi Seepapitso IV.

Kanye is divided into three constituencies for elections to the National Assembly of Botswana. They are called Kanye North, Kanye South and Kanye East. Ironically enough, there is no Kanye West.
