Kanroku (観勒 kan'roku?), year of birth and death unknown, was a monk who came across the sea from Kudara (modern day Korea) to Japan during the Asuka period in 602. He brought with him science as practiced by the Chinese, including the Chinese calendar, Chinese astronomy, and writings about geography.
