Kanju is a beautiful village situated on the bank of River Swat in the North-West Frontier Province, Pakistan.It is three KMs from Mingora, the main city of District Swat. It has some tourist spots. Prominent Personalities are: Malik (Chieftain) Malik Jamroz Khan and his sons Malik Abdul Akbar Khan Lala and Malik Nawsherawan Khan, AbdulMabood (Jan Sahib), Malik Shah Bali Jan. Saidu Sharif Airport is just a mile away from Kanju. Its a small airport mainly used for domestic flights. Though Kanju is expanding rapidly but still it has a touch of country life.
