Kaneto Shindo

Kaneto Shindo (新藤兼人 Shindō Kaneto, born 28 April 1912 in Hiroshima, Japan is a Japanese film director. He was married to the actress Nobuko Otowa (1925-1994), who appeared in several of his films.
