Kandrakar

Kandrakar is the name of the center of infinity, lead by the Oracle in the comic book series, W.I.T.C.H. There, the Oracle watches over the universe and the many worlds Kandrakar guide. Once trouble takes place, he summons the guardians, whose mission it is to protect the other worlds including their own.

Before the time of W.I.T.C.H., Kandrakar had guardians of their own time. Then they were Nerissa, Cassidy, Halinor, Kadma, and Yan Lin (who is now Hay Lin's grandmother).

Nerissa used to be the Keeper of the Heart of Kandrakar, but she became too attached to its power. It was then the Oracle realized that she was no longer worthy of keeping it; so he handed over the Heart to Cassidy. Blinded with jealousy, Nerissa did away with her. Kadma and Halinor found out about it and discovered that the Oracle also knew it would happen. In anger, Kadma and Halinor judged the Oracle, causing them to be casted away from being the Guardians, and retirning to be the members of the council once they die. Only Yan Lin stayed loyal, but remained friends with the two.
